This is part of a group of about 100 farmed emus soaking up the early morning sun...it is 1 degree Celsius, and, although the sun has been up for an hour and a half, they are still standing in frost. Emus are farmed for their delicate meat and emoliant-like oil. They make a soft, hollow sound like a drum filled with water.
