Be cautious approaching Kwinana freeway on Mundajong road, near the wetlands as a black swan is walking along the middle of the road in the dark.. I had to stop for a few minutes while it looked around, trying to get its bearings. A patient bird, the black swans often cross the roads with their new chicks. In Perth, this means traffic comes to a standstill...even if they turn around and walk back. 21:15 WA time.
